Tommy is a proud Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps
Tommy Warren is a native of Cumberland, R.I. where he was raised as a New Englander. He graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, SC and was commissioned through the NROTC program as a Marine Corps Second Lieutenant in May 1997.
During his career in the Marine Corps, He served as a Motor Transport Officer, Logistics Officer, or Operational Planner in each of the three Marine Expeditionary Forces in Twentynine Palms, CA, Camp Lejeune, NC, Camp Pendleton CA, Okinawa Japan, Al Anbar Iraq, and Helmand Afghanistan.
In addition to a myriad of staff positions, Tommy also commanded at the platoon, company, and battalion levels, leading transportation units in distributing supplies in the continental United States, Far East, and Middle East.
He completed overseas tours with Marine Corps Forces Korea in Seoul, South Korea and Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa in Stuttgart, Germany. While in Germany, he also served as an Adjunct Professor and instructed the Command & Staff College Distance Education Seminar.
Tommy also served at The Pentagon in the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Logistics Directorate where he was awarded as the 2018 Joint Staff Logistics Officer of the Year.
He has represented The Citadel, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Camp Lejeune, and Camp Butler Rugby Teams as a student and Marine athlete and ambassador of the sport.
Tommy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Language from The Citadel and Master’s degrees in Military Studies and Operational Studies from Marine Corps University, and Supply Chain Management from Penn State University.
He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from his last unit, Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command at Camp Lejeune, NC in May 2023.
Tommy started Semper Pergendum Logistics Solutions Corp. as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business in August 2023. He joined SUPPLYPOINTe in October 2023, taking control of the greater Charleston, SC area territories. He opened for business in January 2024.
He is a member of The Citadel and Penn State Alumni Associations, Citadel Brigadier Foundation, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Low Country Leathernecks, and Veteran’s Golfer’s Association. He is also a proud sponsor of St. Jude Children Research Hospital. He currently competes in local golf, tennis, and cornhole leagues.
